学术午餐会（Brown Bag）指研究学者利用午餐时间进行学术演讲和交流，是欧美国家盛行的一种学术交流形式。Brown bag（棕色袋子）代表参与者自带或者主办方提供的午餐，由于美国午餐盒饭多半都装在棕色纸袋里而得名。
浙大卡特资源环境与农业发展研究团队(READ)联合浙江大学公共管理学院农业与农村发展智能计算实验室(ARDIC)，以“午餐会”的形式举办学术研讨会，期间会为报名参会的师生提供丰盛美味的“午餐”，旨在为师生提供轻松愉快的环境进行亲切、平等的对话，营造良好的校园学术氛围。

刘子铭
刘子铭博士，浙江大学“百人计划”研究员、博士生导师，执教于公共管理学院土地管理系。刘子铭博士毕业于德国柏林洪堡大学农业经济学系（合作经济学方向），主要从事土地经济与管理、住房市场、环境行为与政策等领域研究。主持国家社科基金、教育部人文社科等多项课题，相关研究成果发表于China Economic Review, Ecological Economics和European Review of Agricultural Economics等国内外知名期刊，出版英文专著1部，参编中文著作3部。曾入选上海市“浦江人才”计划，兼任Humanities and Social Sciences Communications期刊国际编委、中国自然资源学会人口资源专业委员会副主任、资源经济研究专业委员会副秘书长。
内容提要：
Leading-by-example and the voluntary provision of public goods in rural areas: Experimental evidence from China
Comparing randomly selected and real-world political leaders, this paper investigates the effect of leading-by-example on voluntary contributions in a linear contribution mechanism public goods game experiment with 550 residents in rural China. This setting provides a unique social structure, shaping people’s responses to leadership.We find that leading-by-example set by political leaders and randomly selected leaders increases participants’ contribution by 1.432 and 1.162 Chinese Yuan, which is an increase of approximately 22 and 18 percent of average contributions in the control group. The difference in the effects of leading-by-example set by political leaders and randomly selected leaders is small and statistically insignificant. Contributions under the leading-by-example treatments are driven by increased contributions from leaders and mimicking behaviour of followers, although following political leaders is weaker.Our findings highlight the crucial role of leading-by-example and strong village-level institutions in the provision of public goods.
