讲座题目：农产品贸易研究及贸易协定的谈判、实施与影响
Abstract: The researchers of agriculture economics sometimes wonder what would be the use of their great projects. How their studies and results would help the farmers and the agriculture sector to advance in the world markets? In this seminar, the speaker gives a trade policy practitioner’s perspective that how it works from economic research to government trade policy negotiations, and then to implementation of international agreements. From trade theory to practice of trade policy negotiations, how trade agreements were negotiated, and finally how the implementation of international agreements bring the growth and development for the agreed countries in the world. Attempts were made to show what and how various different topics of studies were connected to the international trade policy negotiations.
主讲嘉宾简介：
陈燕平，加拿大阿尔伯塔大学（Alberta）农业经济学博士，原加拿大驻华大使馆两任农业参赞，曾任加拿大农业部加中农业贸易关系部副主任。20多年来，他主要从事加中农林业贸易的市场准入和贸易发展工作；参与了包括“加中油菜籽贸易”“木材贸易政策、条件及相关市场准入规则”等多项国际贸易谈判。在1997至2005年期间，陈博士代表加拿大参与了中国等十几个国家的入世（WTO）农业谈判专题项目。
