浙江大学中国农村发展研究院、华中农业大学经济管理学院将联合美国普渡大学农业经济系、密歇根州立大学农业经济系举办以“选择实验方法的理论与应用”为主题的暑期工作坊。近年来，选择实验在国际上的应用经济学研究十分流行。该方法通过问卷或者真实选择实验测算消费者对非市场商品，如环境公共品、政府服务、普通产品等，或尚未上市的新产品的支付意愿，且比传统的条件估值法更科学可靠，因而在资源环境、食品经济等领域成为主流研究方法之一。此法在国内也逐步开始应用，但由于缺乏系统的教学教材，部分研究在设计及实施中存在一定缺陷。此次工作坊将由在这方面有十年经验，在国际著名期刊发表几十篇选择实验方面的论文，并在理论方法上不断突破创新的国内外知名学者对相关知识进行系统讲解。他们将选择实验方法应用在食品安全、有机认证、进口产地、包装保鲜、环境保护、动物福利、农作物保险、电商平台等各个方面的研究中。
本次活动旨在为国内农业经济及相关学科的青年教师和研究生提供一个系统学习选择实验法研究前沿的互动平台，不仅讲授方法而且为每一位学员的研究课题设计提供指导帮助，为选择实验法在中国农业经济及相关学科研究中的更好应用奠定基础。团队2018年已经成功举办首期工作坊并取得实际成效，有学员成功应用所学方法在学术期刊发表。
教授团队：
H.Holly Wang
Holly Wang is a professor at Purdue University, distinguished professor at Zhejiang University. Dr.Holly Wang’s research has been focused on food safety and marketing, agricultural risks and crop insurance，E-commerce，and consumer and producer preferences in both US and China.Dr. Wang has advised over ten Ph.D students whom are now faculty members in major US and international research universities, and economists in the finance industry. She has published over 80 articles in world top agricultural economics journals such as American Journal of Agricultural Economics, European Review of Agricultural Economics,Agricultural Economics, Journal of Agricultural Economics, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics, and China Agricultural Economic Review. Dr.Wang served as an Executive Board Director of Agricultural and Applied Economics Association 2014-2017. She also served as past President of Chinese Economists Society in 2009, and founding Chair for China Section of Agricultural and Applied Economics Association in 2010.
David Ortega
David Ortega is an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. David’s research spans a range of topics in domestic and global agrifood systems, and focuses on understanding consumer, producer and agribusiness decision-making to better inform food policies and marketing strategies. At the core of his research is his use of quantitative preference and choice modeling which he applies to critical and timely issues. Current research topics include demand for food safety in China, emerging markets for US products, climate change adaptation, and sustainable agricultural intensification. David has published 36 journal articles, and numerous working papers and reports using choice experiments. His work has been published in leading agricultural economics journals, including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Food Policy, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Agricultural Economics, Ecological Economics, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, and China Economic Review among others. He is an active member in the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association having served in various elected and appointed positions. He was awarded the Early Career Leadership Award by the national Council on Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics, and recently received the 2018 Emerging Scholar Award by the Southern Agricultural Economics Association—an award recognizing high-performing early-career faculty in the profession.
金少胜
金少胜是浙江大学教授、博士生导师，现任浙江大学中国农村发展研究院副院长、公共管理学院农业经济与管理系主任。中国农业经济学会青年（工作）委员会委员、浙江省农业经济学会理事、国际农业经济学会（IAAE）会员、国际食品与涉农商务管理学会（IFAMA）会员、日本农业经济学会会员。浙江省151人才、浙江省之江青年学者“农业与农村发展”团队负责人。研究领域为食物经济管理，曾主持国家自然科学基金项目、教育部重点研究基地重大项目等10余项，在国内外发表论文30余篇，著作3部，在应用选择实验、拍卖实验等方法开展食品特性的经济评价方面具有丰富的研究积累。

面向群体：以农业经济管理及相关学科的博士生、青年学者为主，共计60人左右。工作坊将根据研究计划质量筛选正式学员30人，旁听学员30人，正式学员研究计划将由授课专家团队进行当场点评和展示，其他方面与旁听学员一致。需要一定英语基础（部分讲授用英语，配助教概括翻译解释），需自带电脑，电脑需要安装Microsoft Office和Nlogit软件（ 4.0及以上版本）。
