戴觅，北京师范大学经济与工商管理学院副教授。美国哥伦比亚大学、美联储纽约银行访问学者。2013年毕业于北京大学国家发展研究院，主要研究方向为国际贸易与发展经济学。研究成果发表于Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics,The World Economy等国际期刊以及《管理世界》、《经济学（季刊）》、《世界经济》等中文期刊。研究成果获得18届“安子介国际贸易研究优秀论文奖”。

摘要：

This paper investigates how households adjust to local labor market shocks caused by tradeliberalization in urban China. Exploiting regional variation in the exposure to tariff cuts resultingfrom the WTO accession, we find that regions that initially specialized in industries facinglarger tariff cuts experienced relatively larger wage declines. Households responded to theshock in several ways, including more female household members working, more young adultsco-residing with parents, and households saving less. These findings suggest an insurance role of households against trade-induced labor market shocks.
