2010年5月28－29日，由意大利Gabriele D’Annunzio 大学主办的首届中国－意大利小产业集群发展国际研讨会（First International Conference on Small Business Industrial Clusters in China and Italy Experiences and Lessons for Developing and Advanced Economies）在意大利帕斯卡拉成功举行。斯坦福大学的Scott Rozelle教授、俄亥俄州立大学的Belton Fleisher教授以及来自意大利、中国等地的产业集群领域的研究专家参加了本次盛会。

　　在最近半个世纪中，小产业集群在意大利取得了巨大的成功，有关意大利产业集群的研究也在上世纪70年代开始逐渐获得了国际学术界的关注。同样地，中国改革开放后，东部沿海地区的工业化过程也是与产业集群密切相关的，尤其是浙江省的快速农村工业化主要是通过“一乡一品”、“一镇一业”的产业集群的形式取得成功的。因而比较中国与意大利产业集群的发展经验，具有重要的理论与现实意义。

　　我校中国农村发展研究院（CARD）院长黄祖辉教授、光彪学者张晓波教授、叶春晖副教授、阮建青博士、管理学院郭京京博士生参加了本次国际研讨会。黄祖辉教授和张晓波教授分别做了“Evolution and inclusive innovation: a case study on freshwater pearl industry cluster in Shanxiahu town of Zhejiang, China”和“Cluster-based industrialization in China: financing and performance”的学术报告，并且主持了两个分会；叶春晖副教授、阮建青博士、郭京京博士生的报告主题分别是“The local government, entrepreneurship and development of rural industrial clusters –Evidence from Zhejiang province, China”、“Crises beget quality upgrade: evidence from industrial clusters in China”、“How can a private technology service agent play a role of public goods provider in industrial cluster? A case study in China”。来自浙江大学的这些学术报告引起了与会专家的广泛兴趣。

　　与会期间，黄祖辉院长与本次会议的组织方达成了第二届会议在浙江大学举行的初步意向。
