【摘要】 科学地推进社会主义新农村建设需要科学地认识农民和农村现状,中国综合社会调查(CGSS)为全面了解农民对新农村建设的基本需求和心态提供了系统数据。调查显示,农民的相对剥夺性需求依次是:扩大收入、减轻负担、加强基础设施建设、完善保险保障体制、充实公共管理和发展文化教育事业;农民的期望性需求依次是:保险保障、农业补贴、基础设施建设、教育培训。对这些需求产生影响的因素主要是:农民对农业的依赖、非农业收益机会递减、社会保障及公共品获得较少。
