Professor William Lesser是美国康奈尔大学应用经济与管理系系主任，主要从事技术转移、知识产权保护、食品分配效率和畜牧产品营销等的相关研究。Professor William Lesser特别关注于知识产权在生物多样性保护方面的应用，他目前还担任负责向发展中国家转移农业新技术的International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-Biotech Applications (ISAAA)负责人；同时担任巴西、印度尼西亚、孟加拉等多个发展中国家的政府知识产权顾问。

Deepthi Kolady博士2006年在康奈尔大学应用经济与管理系获得博士学位，目前在康奈尔大学应用经济与管理系从事博士后的研究工作。她主要研究转基因作物对发展中国家的经济影响、农产品品种多样性与农业生产效率的研究。
