摘 要:随着村民自治实践的深入发展，村民自治本身所存在的矛盾逐渐暴露出来。如行政放权的力度不够，使村民自治缺少必需的体制空间：农村市场经济、文化和社会组织等条件发展的不成熟，使村民自治的发展缺少坚实的基础：法律制度和绩效评估体制的不完善，使村民自治缺少有效的监督。因此，在扩大其外部发展空间和巩固其内部成长基础的前提下，进一步完善法律制度和建立有效的绩效评估体系，是使村民自治走出当前困境的有效路径。[著者文摘]

The Difficulties Faced by Villagers＇ Self-governance and Path ChoiceXie Gencheng ,Zhang YiAbstract:With the development of villagers＇ self-govemance, the paradox existing in this system is being uncovered, which makes us have to consider the reason. Administrational decentralization is not enough, which makes the development of villagers＇ self-governance lack enough systematic space. The development of market economy,culture and social organization is not very well, which make it lack solid basis. The condition of law and performance evaluation system aren＇t satisfactory, which make it lack effectual monitory. So, on the base of widening external developing space and consolidating internal growing basis, improving law and setting up performance evaluation system will be the sole choice of the villagers＇ self-governance.[著者文摘]
