【英文摘要】 Peasants’ problems are the chief ones of China’s revolution and construction.It’s of theoretical and practical value to define the concept of peasants scientifically for knowing and understanding peasants’ problems.This article begins with peasants’ recognition,defining systematically the concept of peasants in the contemporary era,and analyses all kinds of misunderstandings.Finally it studies the basic characteristics of seven levels of peasants with the social reality in country economy.
