报告人简介:

Rodolfo M. Nayga, Jr. is Distinguished Professor and Tyson Endowed Chair in Food Policy Economics in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at University of Arkansas. Dr. Nayga received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.  Prior to joining the University of Arkansas, he was a professor at Texas A&M University for 12 years.  He also was a faculty member at Rutgers University and at Massey University, New Zealand.  He has been a Fulbright Senior Scholar at Wageningen University, The Netherlands, Taiwan National Science Council Fellow at the National Taiwan University, adjunct professor at Korea University and Norwegian Institute for Bioeconomy Research, NBER research economist, and senior research fellow of the Waseda Institute for Advanced Study in Tokyo. He is currently Director and executive board member of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.

Dr. Nayga has published more than 250 refereed articles in journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Economic Inquiry, Health Economics, European Review of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Economics, Food Policy, Food Quality and Preference, Journal of Agricultural Economics, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics, Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy. His work has been cited about 9000 times, with an H-index of 53.

Dr. Nayga is or has been a member of editorial board of 17 scholarly journals including, an associate editor of the American Journal of Agricultural Economics and was co-Editor of Choices, a publication of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.
